Max Vernon on Live Block 12.10.09

Just thought I'd give a quick update about recent and upcoming installments of Live Block, the Brown Student and Community Radio show that hosts live bands in-studio every Thursday night from 9 to 10. Last week we had Mary Bee, who sang beautifully over some tight beats. You can check out her music here.

Next week Max Vernon will be performing. A songwriter from NYC, he plays piano and sings, and from his listed influences - "carnivals, dusty honky tonk pianos, vintage pornography, michel foucault, and booze" - it sounds like it's going to be quite the trip. Music here.
